How do Business Plans differ from Strategic and other types of corporate plans?
From Wikipedia:
Business plans that identify and target internal goals, but provide only general guidance on how they will be met are called Strategic Plans.
Operational plans describe the goals of an internal organization, working group or department.
Project plans, describe the goals of a particular project.
Note; We strongly recommend that nonprofit organizations fully complete all internal strategic, operational and project plans with sufficient detail regarding inputs, outputs, and costs, as well as short-term, mind-term, and long-term desired (or projected) outcomes and then collectively bring these together, package these individual plans within your Business Plan. Doing so will greatly facilitate the development of your business plan (excluding administrative functions, processes and costs) and result in a practical and feasible Business Plan.
